New Werewolf prop for the Haunted Corn Maze

Our build crew is working on a new custom Werewolf prop that will be featured in the Westworld Haunted Trail this season. All the animatronics have been made and programmed, and all we need to do is complete the stone facade and paint the structure.

Werewolf shakes girl and drags her into his lair

The action on this prop is amazing. The Werewolf shakes the victim violently back and forth, then looks up and growls at you. Then he bites the girl and drags her back into his cave.Very cool!!

Tearing out the walls inside the Bates Motel

With the mild winter, we have been able to work inside the Haunted House (no heat) for the last several weeks, removing props, sets and wall panels in anticipation of major additions for the upcoming season. Some of the ideas we have conjured up are a high-tech haunted kitchen, basement and boiler scene and a highly detailed wine cellar. All these rooms will be outfitted with amazing scares and surprises. If anyone has any ideas for room design or would like to see something different, email us at info@thebatesmotel.com

New Haunted Hayride Scene

Here is a sneak peak at what will be our newest scene at the Arasapha Farms’ Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride. It’s a 30′ x 50′ drive through barn filled with amazing, scary animatronics and live actors that is guaranteed to strike fear in all who enter. We added a 40′ long conveyor that will hold about 30 bodies and will surround the wagons as they pass through. This scene is just one of the new sets being designed and built at Arasapha Farm for the Halloween season in 2011. Stay tuned for more shots and videos of this amazing, scary ride.
